Thank you to Friends of Foster Kids for having us and sharing your work with our team. And thank you to everyone involved in helping to provide special moments for children in need this Christmas.

Emily's Lemonade Stand

At the May 21st Charter Township of Shelby Board of Trustees meeting, we were proud to stand alongside the Broadbridge Family as their children Emily and Michael were recognized. Since 2011, Emily's Happy Day Lemonade stand has raised over $33,000 for the Macomb Intermediate School District Homeless Education Project. This initiative provides backpacks, clothes, school supplies and other assistance to homeless students and their families in #MacombCounty. Congratulations on your success Emily and Michael. Your dedication and care for others is truly touching lives. #KirkHuth looks forward to sponsoring your 2019 event on June 1st. Save a glass of #lemonade for us!

Take Your Child to Work Day

When your child sees the work that you do, it allows them to imagine their future. Raechel Badalamenti's daughter was excited when her Girl Scount Troop was able to meet Judges Kathryn George and James M. Maceroni, tour their courtrooms and learn a bit about the practice of law. This early influence just might steer the futures of these little Girl Scouts.

Harrison Township Board Recognition

Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti is known for our established municipal law practice serving close to 20 cities and townships. At last night's Harrison Township board meeting where we serve as General Counsel, it was an honor to be recognized by the Parks and Recreation Department. Most Parks & Rec groups rely on volunteers, partners and sponsors to help with events held during the year for their citizens. Community and giving back is important to our legal firm. Thank you for this unexpected honor.

Michigan Center For Civic Education

Attorney Elizabeth Morris received this kind note from her former high school debate teacher and mentor, who heads up the Michigan Center for Civic Education.

The Michigan Center for Civic Education promotes and supports the development of engaged citizens through law-related and civic education. They do so by educating youth, engaging students, supporting teachers with professional development and resources, advocation and more. In March, Elizabeth will be volunteering with MCCE at the Macomb County Circuit Court for their mock trial competition where high school students go head to head before real court room judges.

Thank you to the Michigan Center for Civic Education for all the work that is done and for acknowledging Kirk Huth’s impact in local communities.

Macomb Charity Connects

Children's Miracle Network - Swing For The Kids

Do you know that 1 in 10 children in North America are treated by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals each year? CMN relies on donations and community support to cover the cost of care. KirkHuth was happy to get involved with the Neighborhood Mortgage Group's Swing for the Kids golf outing. We urge you to support CMN which includes our local Beaumont Children's Hospital. This worthy cause helps kids and their families who are dealing with surgeries, diabetes, cancer, trauma and more.

2024 Loyola High School Bulldogs "Dawg Pound"

Loyola High School Bulldogs

Kirk Huth was there to support its favorite Loyola High School Bulldogs team in an excellent show of strength and sportsmanship when they clashed on a Detroit Rugby Field in a match against Brighton High School. We were proud to join the Bulldogs as they hosted the opposing players and their families for a meal after the match.

Thanks for helping to transform lives through the power of collective giving.

Meadow Brook Theatre

This annual fundraiser benefits Meadow Brook Theatre and is one of Raechel's favorite events to attend. Thank you to the Meadow Brook Theatre Guild for the Kirk Huth invitation to sponsor the costume contest. Great fun for a great cause!

The community came together to support Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan, Inc at their annual gala. Maggie Varney and her team aid children who have lost their hair to #cancer and other illnesses. It was an honor to attend the fundraiser and to hear Maggie speak about the families she works with and the non-profit’s future which includes a new location currently under development. Congratulations Rising Stars and thank you for the work you do with special needs students in MacombCounty.

Utica Community Schools Career Luncheon

Guiding and encouraging children to explore careers at a young age is key to helping them find something they will love to do in life. Along with other business professionals, our attorneys Rachael Badalamenti and Mike Taylor spent time with 6th graders from Utica Community Schools at their Career Focus Luncheon. They really enjoyed the conversation about college, careers and their passion for the law. Since Mike is also the Mayor of #SterlingHeights, the students had a bonus opportunity for questions! Congratulations to #UCS on the 26th year of the event.

Wayne State Mentoring

Mentoring and giving back is important to us. Our attorney, Elizabeth Roberts, recently visited Wayne State University to judge oral arguments from the first year #law students. Bet it was great to visit your old stomping grounds Elizabeth!

A desire to serve and knowledge of the advocacy work being done by the Macomb County Community Mental Health was the inspiration for #KirkHuth attorney, Ryan Fantuzzi, to serve on this board. MCCMH promotes recovery, community participation and acceptance for those with mental health challenges and their families. If you or someone you love is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call their Crisis Line at 586-307-9100.
